Dive into the everyday lives of a quintessential small American town as the play explores universal themes of love, marriage, life, and loss. Winner of the Pulitzer Prize for Drama in 1938, Our Town continues to captivate audiences with its poignant portrayal of the human experience.

Performance Schedule

  • Evening Performances: Thursday, February 27 – Saturday, March 1 at 7:30 p.m.
  • Matinee Performance: Sunday, March 2 at 2:00 p.m.

Location and Parking

Performances will take place a short walk from TCHC at the Tucker Theatre in the Boutwell Dramatic Arts Building, located at 615 Champion Way, Murfreesboro, TN 37132.

  • Free Parking: Available in all campus parking lots surrounding the theatre after 4:30 p.m. on weekdays and throughout the weekend.

Places to Visit

  • Stones River Battlefield – The Battle of Stones River began on the last day of 1862 and was one of the bloodiest conflicts of the Civil War. The battle produced important military and political gains for the Union, and it changed forever the people who lived and fought here.
  • Shopping in the Avenue – Want to go shopping, or looking for a place to eat? The Avenue has you covered.
  • City Trail Map – Take a hike across the city with Murfreesboro multiple trailheads.
  • Oaklands Mansion – In 1813, Sallie inherited 274 acres of land north of the town named for her father, Colonel Hardy Murfree. The original structure built on this land was a two-room brick house next to a large spring north of Murfreesboro and was built by enslaved people owned by the Maneys.
